However, in one of the most recent accusations, Yuga Labs has been accused of allegedly using the skull image without the proper licenses. According to the details released by a Twitter user named COLOMBO, the wolf skull was released by a company called Easy Drawing Guides, a platform that helps children and beginners to draw with simple tutorials.

COLOMBO pointed out that the original image of the wolf skull was released by the tutorial platform on April 5, 2021, whereas the Bored Ape Kennel Club logo was released on June 17, 2021. The drawing tutorial platform also thanked the user for highlighting the resemblance and stated that Yuga Labs doesn’t have a license to use the wolf skull drawing.

“Yugalabs doesn’t have a license to the wolf skull drawing.” “The intellectual property rights for the drawing belong to Easy Drawing Guides, as it’s our original drawing and protected by our Terms and Conditions.”

The allegations received mixed responses, as some supported the drawing tutorial platform while other BAYC supporters believe that there haven’t been any violations. Yuga Labs has not yet responded to the accusation.
