With the Nottingham update, Floki Inu has been hard at work making their network and users all transition over with their new upgrade. However, there have been some issues and frequently asked questions by the community, which Floki Inu has answered via an article on Medium.

The following are the major issues addressed.

Status of Floki Inu token on CEX’s

People who store their tokens on CEXs like Gate, Hotbit, and Poloniex have left a lot of comments and messages, regarding the status of their tokens. Some people are concerned that everything is fine, given how long some of these CEXs are taking to resume trade.

Floki has said that all is fine, and users should not worry. All exchanges have the new, improved tokens, according to Floki, and users should be alright once they complete the upgrade on their end. Users are not supposed to do anything else because the exchange should cross over smoothly.

Timelines of upgrade completion

A major question among users was why are some of these exchanges taking so long to complete the update after receiving the new tokens. Floki has stated that exchanges follow their own timelines, which are sadly beyond Floki’s control.

A number of exchanges, like LBank, BingX, and MEXC, have already resumed trading. Bitmart announced that trading, deposits, and withdrawals for FLOKI resume from February 3rd onwards.

Some exchanges are taking much longer to resume trading activity (which has been exacerbated by the Chinese New Year break), but the Floki Inu team has been following up with them on a daily basis to guarantee that users can get their tokens as soon as feasible.

Whom to contact regarding FLOKI issues?

The third major issue among users was regarding who to contact about their grievances.

Floki has said that they have no control over or access to the CEX databases or the events that occur in their environment. The only thing the Floki team can do is airdrop all of their users’ total holdings to the exchange’s centralized wallet, which they have already done.

As a result, questions about when and how users can access the new, improved FLOKI tokens should be directed to the CEX’s customer service agents, as only the CEXs have the authority to fix this issue.

The team at Floki Inu hopes that all exchanges should be ready with the upgrade at the earliest, and ask their users to have some patience for some of the exchanges to resume their activities.
