A fresh class lawsuit against the former officers
The former chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission is under the radar for how he handled the cryptocurrency concerns. Clayton had even commented once that Bitcoin was not a security.
The lawsuit by SEC against Ripple was filed at the end of his journey at the commission.
The new lawsuit charge has been made after several calls were made by the Ripple (XRP) community to investigate the roles of the top SEC executives in the lawsuit between Ripple and the SEC.
The new lawsuit against Clayton and Hinman was amidst the rising allegation that the former SEC executives acted in favor of their present and previous employees and that they destroyed hundreds of XRP investor hopes.
In his thread of tweets, Fred Rispoli added that the lawsuit is a stand against what those two did to harm hundreds of thousands of people intentionally.
He added:
“Mr. Clayton and Mr. Hinman through their actions described in the complaint and operating outside of the SEC, took unreasonable and improper action to help their former (and now-current) clients target a rival, competitor blockchain network.”
Fred said that the XRPL network should have been given a level playing field and that the Ripple army will win this fight.
