The VeChain team has made another prominent announcement to its community. According to the details from the latest Medium article by the VeChain Foundation, the team has unveiled the launch of its fully decentralized cryptocurrency wallet.
VeWorld – VeChain’s new crypto wallet
Dubbed VeWorld, the new fully decentralized self-custody wallet got its name, which implies its key role of acting as the gateway to the VeChain realm. The team will initially launch a web wallet, which will be followed up by mobile and desktop versions in Q3.
Post-launch, the cryptocurrency wallet will provide users with various features, including importing and creating wallets, managing their cryptocurrency portfolios, sending and receiving cryptocurrency assets, and transactions on dApps, etc.

“Looking ahead, the VeChain Foundation wallet team is working on an extensive list of innovative features, including a carbon calculator to allow users and enterprises to track their associated carbon emissions, a direct fiat on-ramp, native NFT integration, DEX integration, cross-chain bridges, and much more.”
The announcement also reveals that the new cryptocurrency wallet was made possible with the help of experts from Ireland and Europe. The foundation will also be unveiling more details and features regarding the wallet shortly.
