Bentley University will now accept cryptocurrencies for tuition payments, including bitcoin, ethereum, and USDC.

Bentley University has become one of the first universities to offer its students crypto and digital payment services. The university’s move to accept tuition payments in crypto marks a commitment to early adoption and entry into the world of digital assets.

Bentley University is making the dream come true with the partnership with Coinbase to accept crypto payments in three currencies: bitcoin, ethereum, and USDC. The initiative puts front the students and their families an alternate payment solution.

The university will also accept donations in crypto, including bitcoin, ethereum, and USDC. The Bentley university is also home to some excellent crypto enthusiasts. A student of Bentley University, Alex Kim ’22, MSF ’23, is an early adopter of cryptocurrency.

He invested in cryptocurrency during his high school days, and he launched the Bentley blockchain association last fall. The group has also witnessed consistent growth, with over 257 members within a few months of its creation.

Kim said that the students are keen on learning about blockchain and cryptocurrency investment, and the technologies are influencing different industries. The university is also launching a blockchain, and decentralized finance-based course as the interest of the students is soaring.

Last year, the university also issued NFTs to celebrate the hall of fame induction of their former women’s basketball coach. They also hold the title of one of the first universities to issue NFTs.
