Charles Karony, Safemoon’s VP of Operations – Europe, has quit the company in order to go after his academic pursuits. Charles is the brother of Safemoon founder, John Karony.
Karony announced his departure via Twitter, on Monday. He stated that he has made the painful but necessary decision to leave his former position with Safemoon in order to return to his academics and finish his degree. He goes on to add how pleased he is of SafeMoon’s accomplishments and how grateful he is for the opportunity.
Karony reflects on how the last year has left an indelible impression on him and others involved in SFM’s rapid growth and climb. He said he’ll never forget this period, the fantastic team, and the thousands (or maybe millions) of incredible people that make up the Safemoon Army.
Karony stays committed to SFM bright future as a continuous holder and someone who is amazed at the accomplishments this company and community have made.
He says this isn’t the last time we’ll hear from Karony, and he doesn’t expect it to be the last time he hears from the community either.
He ends his message by saying that he’ll see us around, because, he add’s, he’s quite tall.
Bon Voyage from Safemoon
Safemoon’s official Twitter page posted a tweet asking the community to join them in wishing Karony, their “tall hero”, a beautiful bon voyage and best wishes.
The company acknowledges the work done by Karony, who has not just witnessed history, but also helped create it. The team at SFM thanked Karony with honor, offering their full support to him.
Safemoon’s Twitter statement ends with a quote from Alexander Graham Bell;
“The achievement of one goal should be the starting point of another.”
Charles Karony is deeply missed in the SFM community, but it’s too soon to say what unfolds from here. Safemoon has a wide array of projects underway, and their time ahead sure does look busy.
