As SafeMoon turns one, the community took the opportunity to celebrate the young cryptocurrency’s anniversary. One of the pillars of crypto space is its community-centric outlook. Each community is a family, and the SFM family is rightfully a warm and “safe” place for its members.
SafeMoon birthday celebrations in India
An early SFM investor, Mohit Kamat, who is also a professional badminton player from India, celebrated SFM’s first birthday with the students from his badminton academy. The youth of today are the inheritors of tomorrow. When the youth is aware and conscious, the future has a better chance of flourishing. Mohit took the opportunity to educate the young students at his academy about Safemoon, and about the cryptocurrency space.

The students, along with their coach, cut a cake dedicated to Safemoon, while singing the Happy Birthday song. The children were full of glee, laughter, and happiness, an act that is warmly pushed for in crypto communities. Of course, the children did not know much about SFM, asking questions like,
“Who Is Safemoon? Is it a company?…The moon? It’s Safe Sir!”
Mohit answered their questions while saying;
“Safemoon is like my own baby.”
It is extremely important to educate our youth about the future. They will eventually lead the space and make the decisions that will shape the path on which humanity strides.
The celebration of SFM’s first anniversary was heartfelt and touching. It is always a beautiful sight to watch young children burst with curiosity. Their questions are unmasked and innocent, while at the same time, having a hint of intelligence.
SafeMoon retweeted the video, mentioning the fact that Safemoon truly has a global presence. They thanked the children and Mohit for their wishes, adding that the cake looks fantastic.

SFM CEO, John Karony, may currently be in The Gambia to discuss Operation Phoenix with the Gambian Government officials. SafeMoon also streamed a video on their official YouTube channel, to thank the community for their constant support.
