The NFT realm is not in its best shape right now. The hype and popularity of various NFT collections has plummeted this year as the prolonged bear market as affected the prices of various cryptocurrencies. To add to the trouble, the fall of the Terra ecosystem in May and the recent collapse of FTX have made things even worse.

Several notable firms, brands, and personalities began to drop their NFT collections one by one. However, the recent significant drop-off has pushed them to a corner as not so relevant.

As per the recent announcement, the former president of the United States, Donald Trump, has paved his way into the NFT realm.

Donald Trump releases his first NFT collection

Donald recently shared a post on Truth Social, an American social media platform. As per the details from the tweet, Trump is releasing his first official “Donald Trump Digital Trading Card Collection.”

He indicated that these digital cards will be a limited edition series and will feature art of his life and career. Trump also asserted that it is very much like a baseball card but much more exciting.

Trump’s NFT collection drops right during the month of December, and he stressed that it would make a great Christmas gift. Many would even argue that Trump dropped his NFT collection during a tough market condition.
