Elon Musk is reportedly advising former United States President Donald Trump on crypto policies. Indeed, a Bloomberg report states that Musk is set to play a rather pivotal role in Trump’s cryptocurrency approach on the campaign trail, as he seeks reelection in 2024.

Digital assets are poised to be a pivotal talking point in the lead-up to the November election. Both Trump and current US President Joe Biden are developing an approach to the industry, with cryptocurrency regulation becoming a massive point of contention within the sector.

Elon Musk Revealed as Trump’s Crypto Advisor

Now, it has been revealed that Elon Musk is currently advising Donald Trump on crypto policies. Specifically, Musk has been working alongside the Trump campaign as he seeks to “reach new voters” through the growing popularity of cryptocurrency.

Conversely, the cryptocurrency sector will become a hot-button issue for both candidates. It does appear that Trump has become a more favorable candidate, expressing his openness to the expanding asset class.
