Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6), the sixth interaction of Rockstar Games’ epic video game series, will be launched in the autumn of 2025. The date was revealed on Thursday after Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, released its quarterly report. Unfortunately, that is all the company had to say concerning the launch date. Take-Two Interactive might not be comfortable saying anything more than ‘Fall 2025.’

However, there is one concerning element in Take-Two Interactive’s report. The company has reported a a $2.9 billion loss for the Jan. 1-March 31 period. However, the $2.9 billion loss included a $2.18 billion goodwill charge, a $304.3 million hit for acquisition-related expenses, and restructuring costs of $93.3 million.
Will GTA 6 live up to the hype?
Grand Theft Auto is one of the most successful video game series of all time. Given the high standards that the GTA series has built, gamers and industry experts expect nothing short of perfection. When Rockstar Games released the trailer for GTA 6 in December of last year, it broke several records, with over 190 million views so far.
The next Grand Theft Auto is expected to include many new features. Many experts speculate that the game could have a built-in cryptocurrency. Moreover, there are rumors that GTA 6 could be the last game in the series. Rockstar might roll out timely updates with new missions and maps. However, there is no official confirmation on this front.
