New cryptocurrencies are emerging every day. With the existence of over 20,178 cryptocurrencies according to the data from CoinMarketCap, it’s hard to establish a real-life use case for each one.
Dogecoin started off as a joke and has gained popularity over the years. Timothy Stebbing, the director of the Dogecoin Foundation, is on a mission to demonstrate the real-life use case of Dogecoin. The Dogecoin Foundation was established with a mission to embed DOGE into everyday life scenarios.
One such example was demonstrated by Timothy Stebbing recently. Stebbing, who met an artist in an Australian cafe, inspired him to sell his art exclusively in DOGE. The artist, who is a non-technical person, received assistance from Stebbing to set up his wallet.
Additionally, he also spoke about a barista that he visited on June 6, and he ended up convincing the barista to accept Dogecoin. As stated by Stebbing, the barista owner is also looking forward to more sales in DOGE.
DOGE in a Loop
As reported previously, the Boring Company is now letting users pay for Loop rides in DOGE. The details were meager during the time of the initial announcement regarding the charges for the ride.
The official Twitter handle of Dogecoin tweeted that the Loop ride day pass is available for just 36 Doge. The initiative is a real-life problem solver for the rising traffic and is accompanied by DOGE for cashless transactions.
Emerging as the top memecoin, DOGE has always stayed at the top of the memecoin frenzy. But can it sustain its throne, or will it be soon dethroned by Shiba Inu? Well, the possibilities are no less. Seeing the fleet of developments under the sleeves for Shiba Inu, DOGE lacks such major developments to keep its rival from moving forward. If the coin intends to stay robust, the team has to come up with relevant updates that can boost the attention and growth of DOGE.
