An anonymous individual named Ryoshi launched Shiba Inu in August 2020. Rumors and conspiracy theories were rife since day one that Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin could secretly be a part of Shiba Inu.
Vitalik is alleged to have been a SHIB originator from the beginning of the launch of the coin. The allegations brew not from conspiracy theories, but from Ryohi’s personal statements published in Medium.com.
Ryoshi and His Friend
Ryoshi wrote his heart out during the initial days of Shiba Inu saying a ”Fren” helped him get SHIB up and running. He wrote that he met the ”fren” in Osaka and stated that he has good influence in the crypto space.
Ryoshi then wrote that the person is a ”successful businessman” and throwing 10 ETH into it didn’t matter to him. He stated that the token contract was up and running quickly and half of it was available on Uniswap.
Ryoshi stated that the ”Fren” then transferred the rest to him so he can take the token forward from there.
Every word in the sentence suggests that the ”fren” in question is none other than Vitalik Buterin himself. The keywords- ”Fren, influence in the crypto space, successful businessman, throw in 10ETH for liquidity,” all point towards Vitalik Buterin.
Also, the ”fren” in question set up the token so easily and with ease, and the process went as smooth as day. Here’s what Ryoshi wrote about the person in Medium on August 3, 2020.
”First thing is I had a fren that i met at devcon last year in Osaka who has some influence in the space, we talk sometimes about Crypto philosophy and I told him the vision and he agreed to help. So he made a token contract and put half of it on Uniswap with 10ETH pair (he is successful business man so 10ETH is nothing for him) and threw away the liquidity keys so the ETH or the tokens can never be withdrawn. He then transferred the rest to me to do my part.”
Ryoshi also thanked his ”Fren” for helping him to set up the process without hassles and giving wings to his dreams. ”We have a SHIB token made and 50% supply locked into sale contract and the other half to my burning wallet. Thank you fren!” At the end of the article, Ryoshi also added a photo of Vitalik Buterin walking with other ETH developers.
Vitalik Buterin Denies He’s The Shiba Inu Originator
Vitalik Buterin denied that he’s the originator of Shiba Inu in the famous Lex Fridman interview which was up on YouTube on June 5, 2021.
We need to accept the fact that the original deplorers of Shiba Inu might never reveal themselves.
Ryoshi has not named Vitalik Buterin or other Ethereum developers about their involvement in Shiba Inu.
In the end, nobody knows who Ryoshi is either, and his real identity is another unsolved mystery.
