Actor Johnny Depp and his fans were over the moon following his win against Amber Heard in their controversial defamation suit. While the lawsuit brought several things to light, the jury sided with Depp. This further instigated movement in the crypto-verse. An NFT collection that entailed artwork by the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, witnessed a significant surge in its price.

The Non-fungible tokens [NFT] have been under the crypto spotlight throughout the year. An array of celebrities and mainstream companies have come forward either spend big bucks on NFTs or formulate their very own collection. Johnny Depp joined this list as well.

Launched in January, the NFT collection “Never Fear Truth” on OpenSea managed to garner immense traction now. During the defamation case, the floor price of this collection surged to a high of 1.64 ETH. At press time, the floor price of the NFT was at 0.446 ETH which is around $867.

The collection reportedly started at a floor price of 0.70 ETH.

Depp’s collection featured a lot of art. This also included, “Friends and Heroes.” The collection displayed several friends and Depp’s heroes over the years. The NFT collection also entailed 607 pieces of the actor himself. The description of this collection read,

“In this first public exposure of Johnny’s art, he has focussed on people he has known well, and who have inspired him as a person. Each image is an intimate reflection of their character in Johnny’s eyes; a portrayal of how they have revealed themselves to him.”

Stars like Heath Ledger, Al Pacino, Elizabeth Taylor as well as Tim Burton with River Phoenix, and Hunter S. Thompson were featured in this NFT collection.

Additionally, the description also revealed that every NFT acted as a membership key to future releases of Johnny Depp’s NFT.
