Laura Shin’s latest book The Cryptopians shed light on a scam where she identified an apparent hacker in a complicated trail of crypto transactions that took place in 2016. Laura believes Ethereum’s 2016 DAO hacker is an Australian programmer and ex-CEO of TenX, Toby Hoenisch. However, Hoenisch has denied the claims.

Nonetheless, the book has received rave reviews with 4.3 stars on Amazon and is among the best-sellers. The latest review on Medium.com by ‘Bridgethegap’ suggests the book has all it takes to be a full-fledged crime-thriller movie.

A snippet from the book review reads, “The book is thrilling, inspiring, and highly entertaining. It captures you right from the get-go, and is the definition of a page turner.”

The reviewer, BridgetheGap, believes that the book could one day be turned into a movie. “In fact I really do think there is a possibility that this book will one day be used as the basis of a movie. It’s that good (and there just has to be a movie about crypto someday — right?).

A few years down the line, it won’t be a surprise if Shin’s book is indeed made into a movie. The book, as per the review could be as good or even better than the movie The Social Network. The movie had released in 2010 and revolved around how Mark Zuckerburg started Facebook.

Movie on Cryptos

Coming to the present day, a crypto documentary is already being filmed about HEX and its founder Richard Heart.

The documentary is titled The Highest of Stakes and will also feature HEX investors who made generational wealth.

Investors made unimaginable money as the crypto doubled in price every 48 days from its inception for 21 months straight.

HEX was founded by Heart in December 2019 and touched $0.55 in September 2021. The Highest of Stakes is scheduled to be released before the end of this year and the filmmakers are looking at releasing it on Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, and other top OTT platforms.
