NBA champion, LeBron James was diving deep into crypto. His latest partnership with the prominent cryptocurrency exchange, Crypto.com is proof of the same.
Athletes from all across the globe have time and again expressed interest in crypto. From rolling out their own crypto asset to accepting salary in crypto, sports personalities have made it big in the crypto-verse. LeBron James, however, wanted to do things differently. The four-time NBA star decided to educate the children part of his foundation about all things crypto.

James has been running the I Promise School since 2011 and has amassed over 1,600 children ever since. The foundation, set up in Akron, Ohio is all set to teach the children and their families the prospects of Web3.
The impact that blockchain tech has made over the years is quite hard to miss. With this latest program, James intends to present the children of his foundation with the opportunity of choosing careers in crypto and similar fields.
Speaking to the local news portal, James said,
“Blockchain technology is revolutionizing our economy, sports and entertainment, the art world, and how we engage with one another. I want to ensure that communities like the one I come from are not left behind. Crypto.com and I are aligned on the need to educate and support my community with the information and tools they need for inclusion.”

Crypto.com has been in the news for an array of reasons lately. An advertisement with Matt Damon certainly put the platform under the spotlight. Despite, the recent hack the exchange seemed to be moving ahead and bagging all the biggies.

As part of the latest partnership, Crypto.com would formulate Web3-centric programming. Furthermore, the firm would also support James’ foundation financially for a couple of years.
Additionally, this isn’t the first time that Crypto.com was entering into such a partnership. The crypto exchange had previously signed a multi-year deal with Angel City FC to bolster awareness about crypto and Web3 tech in general.
