Polygon Considers Governance Restructure in Upcoming Polygon 2.0 Roadmap

Polygon, a 2017 project, has risen as one of the industry’s most exciting and successful ventures.

It was once known as MATIC before being renamed Polygon in April 2021. Polygon provides a decentralized scaling framework for Ethereum developers to leverage while developing dApps. Polygon provides a quicker network and more security at a fair cost.

In one of the latest announcements, MATIC holders are in for some good news. The e-commerce platform Shopping.io has added payment support for MATIC.

Shopping.io adds support for Polygon (MATIC)

The e-commerce platform Shopping.io has announced its support for Polygon (MATIC). The platform will allow users to buy products from Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and The Home Depot. Now, with the new integration, MATIC holders can pay using the token on the platform.

As a part of the new integration, the platform is also giving a 2% discount for the first 30 days. The new payment will be added to the website on October 4. MATIC holders can now pay for their purchases on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and The Home Depot.

Polygon has been bagging several integrations and collaborations recently as well. Robinhood’s web3 beta wallet that went live last week is launching on the MATIC network. In addition to that, the wallet will support multi chains in the future.

This, paired with the advantages of owning Shopping.io’s native token ($SHOP), will allow MATIC holders to save money on all of their online orders.
