Safemoon’s CEO, John Karony, revealed that the company’s payment card is in the works with Mastercard.

The latest announcement about payment cards and point-of-sale (POS) systems was made on Safemoon’s Discord channel on the 6th of February. The Mastercard deal has created much-deserved excitement among the Safemoon community. This is a major utility case for the coin, and the community has become very bullish since.

The SafeMoon Coin payment card is still in the works, and its release date has not been confirmed. Mastercard is an excellent foundation on which to develop a payment system and the team has even made sure that their smart contract can perform POS executions right away, which is a crucial point of integration for credit integration.

Not only that but there is also a rumor that’s been making the rounds that a multi-chain token bridge is also being developed. Users can currently paste addresses into the Safemoon Trade and swap any token only inside the same chain on either BSC or ETH. Some members of the SafeMoon Army are hopeful that the developers will take this a step further by incorporating it into a multi-chain token bridge.

On the surface, building a multi-chain bridge appears simple: it just takes a few buttons on the front end, but it necessitates a complete overhaul on the backend. The latest Wormhole exploit serves as a timely reminder of how vulnerable cross-chain connections might be. In any case, the SafeMoon Army appears to always be thinking big.

The crypto-verse is full of creativity and innovation. The big jump by the Safemoon team is much welcome, given that they ensure user’s safety and protection. In my opinion, an idea dies out when creativity ends, and the Safemoon Army has surely proven its innovative skills.

At the time of Publication, Safemoon was trading at $0.00171256, down by 5.4%.
