Shiba Inu has been turning heads quite literally, as trucks carrying the face of the coin and a message “Shiba Inu To The Moon” were doing rounds in various countries. As per reports, the ShibArmy members were parading around the coin and its mission around the cities of New York, Washington, Beijing, and Canberra.

This sudden boost among the community members could be a result of a recent entry that presented itself after the SHIB broke down from a key support level. The holder and investors jumped on this opportunity to fill in their bags. After falling nearly 35%, SHIB saw new whales entering the pod with $50 million worth of Shiba Inu.

The popularity of the meme coin is undeniable as it reached not just the meme-sharers but also the whales. In time, this popularity has reached the world’s 1,000 largest Ethereum whales. These whales held nearly 52,059,838,702 SHIB tokens equivalent to $1.93 million.

Shiba Inu and the Army

The Shiba Army has been an avid promoter of the project resulting in Shiba adding several feathers on its hat. With a massive growth in less than a year and ‘To the Moon’ predictions, SHIB has been listed on 64 exchanges. Adding to its liquidity, relevance, and high interests, SHIB has managed to create a strong community.

The rallying efforts from the community have pushed over 600 businesses to accept the token as a payment method. It is accepted at 40,000 retail locations. Meanwhile, the developments for the project are not unthought of.

As the network grows, it announced a layer-2 blockchain called Shibarium. Making its way into 2022, Shibarium will am to move the project to its blockchain. Additionally, there are also plans to launch a stable coin native to its blockchain called SHI, while utilizing the BONE token for gas fees.
