A recent medium blog has revealed the latest updates regarding the Shiba Inu L2 layer, Shibarium. The update was also shared by MILKSHAKE, a popular Shiba Inu proponent.
As per the blog, the Unification team continues to play an important role in the development of the Shibarium network by continuing its fundamental effort to enable open-source applications with broad value.
Shibarium, which will be the premium L2 for the Shiba Inu token community, will enable speedy low-cost transactions tailored for gaming in collaboration with the Shib Army.
The project TestNet is expected to go live in the next few months, with a public beta following soon after.
According to the Shiba Inu developer, there is currently a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes with a lot of moving parts, but they are in the process of deploying the second private Alpha TestNet, which will be used for network testing, as well as the development of all the tools required for end-user interaction, such as wallets, block explorers, token transfer bridges, and so on. There will be some private invitations sent out to trusted testers after these have been prepared and implemented.
Shiba Inu 2022 plans
Apart from Shibarium, Shiba Inu also has a host of other releases planned for 2022. They have already teased fans with the upcoming play-to-earn game, which is being developed with William David Volk, who had previously worked with Activision game studios.
Shiba Inu also plans to display the physical Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT’s) at the Milan Fashion Week 2022, which are being made in collaboration with John Richmond, the renowned fashion designer.
Shiba Inu is also on the verge of going live with their metaverse, SHIB: The Metaverse.
The token has also seen a large number of adoption cases. The token plans to have over 1000 businesses accepting SHIB as a legal form of payment by 2023.
At the time of publication, SHIB was trading at $0.00002442.
