Shiba Inu is regularly expanding its ecosystem and reaching new territories. The developers are consistently working to create a sustainable and scalable token for the benefit of their users. Shiba Inu’s much-awaited layer 2 solutions Shibarium would be released soon but the launch date has not been made public yet.

However, ShibaSwap developer Eric M gave an update about Shibarium’s release during a Q&A session on Discord. He revealed that the layer 2 solution’s progress is underway and the team is working towards making it a reality.

When a user asked about Shibarium’s release date, Eric replied “soon”.

Nonetheless, he didn’t specify a timeline for the launch and stated that it’ll be out when its ready. “Those who trusted the project pre-swap were successful post-swap. That’s believing. A timeline is not needed when you trust a project. That’s how SHIB has worked until now and will keep being like this,” he said during Discord’s Q&A session.

Eric also stressed on the fact that revealing a timeline for the release doesn’t ensure the project’s success. He also stated that SHIB’s ecosystem is now vast and the token will not depend on a single identity. “Besides that, thinking that the only way to push SHIB is waiting for the game is, let’s say, not knowing how the project works. Timelines don’t ensure success, it never did.”

The developer also stated that the Shiba Inu team is growing as per the token’s requirements and is happy with the evolution. “Things are good. Teams keep growing to be able to manage that many outputs but it’s cool to see the project evolution and growth over 1 year.”

Shiba Inu’s Upcoming Ecosystem

Shiba Inu has a line of projects and most of the developments are expected to be released in 2022. They include the ‘Dog Park’, ShibaNet, Shibarium, and a much-anticipated gaming partnership with Australia’s Playside Games.

The year 2022 will see SHIB having multiple developments and the releases could positively affect its price in the indices.

Shiba Inu’s founder Ryoshi first talked about Shibarium in his Medium blog in May 2021. “The Shiba L2 (Shibarium) will actually use BONE as the primary pair token (we think.) The reason we are using this instead of Shiba is that BONE will have a fair and “0” start. In which we will not have to be concerned about overarching “whale bags”. But if you are a SHIBA or LEASH holder, don’t worry, your Shiba holdings will be used to yield Bone at the launch of ShibaSwap.”
