The lead developer of ShibaSwap, Shytoshi Kusama hinted in a latest blog post that Shibarium Mainnet could launch in August. Shytoshi said that the L2 blockchain “will be likely” released at the Blockchain Futurist Conference next month. The blockchain event will be held on August 15th and 16th in Toronto, Canada. Shibarium’s Testnet named ‘Puppynet’ experienced a surge in transactions including the total number of blocks produced since the Beta launch.

Shiba Inu: ‘Much More is Coming’ Says Shytoshi Kusama
During a recent Telegram chat in the Bad Idea AI window, Shytoshi hinted that more developments could be on the cards. However, he did not specify what the development is nor did he reveal a release date. The development remained a mystery as not much information is revealed at this point. We will have to wait and watch for an official confirmation about what the ‘much more is coming’ details could be all about.

All eyes are on Shibarium layer-2 solution currently as the network can sustainably scale SHIB’s price up. 70% of the transaction fee initiated on the network will go into SHIB burns. Therefore, the larger the transactions on Shibarium, the more SHIB tokens will be sent to the dead wallet. Shibarium could make SHIB remain scarce and eventually make it shoot up in price. The remaining 30% transaction fee will be used to maintain the network’s day-to-day development.
