Popular crypto project, Shiba Inu (SHIB) is rated as the second most secure crypto by CertiK, a leading security-focused platform. SHIB is currently only behind Polygon, the India-based Ethereum scaling solution.
What’s more surprising is that none of the top crypto projects are on the top 10 leaderboards.
As per CertiK’s data, Shiba Inu secured a healthy 93% on the trust score. Polygon is ahead with a 95% trust score. Additionally, SHIB has obtained three honorary badges from CertiK. The badges include the top 10% trust score and the top 10% watch listed. SHIB is ranked higher than other industry giants, such as Aave, The Sandbox, Decentraland, PancakeSwap, among others.
Additionally, Shiba Inu has a score of 95/100 for the market and community. Moreover, the project also has a social sentiment score of 77/100, which is rather high.
However, this is not the first time Shiba Inu has come out with flying colors on CertiK’s leaderboard. In May 2022, SHIB’s DEx (decentralized exchange) ShibaSwap, was rated as the most secure crypto project.
What makes Shiba Inu secure?
CertiK highlighted some points that helped SHIB become one of the most secure crypto projects. As per the security platform, SHIB is relatively decentralized, meaning that power is not concentrated in the hands of a few. SHIB also has a large market cap, in the top 25%, making the project stable. Additionally, it is a long-running project that offers bug bounties.
CertiK also notes that ShibaSwap had its last audit on the 8th of August, 2021. Of the 34 findings, 33 were resolved, while one was partially resolved.
Shiba Inu, apart from being one of the most secure crypto projects, has a host of launches for 2022. The project recently released its collectible card game, Shiba Eternity. Earlier this year the project launched its burn portal, Shibburn, and ventured into the metaverse with SHIB: The Metaverse. The project is also getting close to launching its layer 2, Shibarium.
However, the security and the launches have done little to push SHIB’s price. At press time, SHIB was trading at $0.00001032, down by 0.4% in the last 24 hours.
