Shiba Inu Reveals New App ‘Shiba Hub’: Here’s What It’s About

Following the introduction of Shibarium, the community-led initiative appears to be moving towards more substantial developments. In a recent post on X, Shiba Inu’s marketing strategist, Lucie, disclosed significant information about an upcoming application designed to bolster the project’s community by fostering connections, sharing, and encouraging creative contributions.

Lucie revealed information about an entirely new application known as the Shiba Hub. The SHIB team member called it a “gateway to something remarkable. Moreover, Lucie encouraged the community to keep an eye out for an exciting graphic set to debut on Shibarium soon.

Additionally, Lucie shared a video that provided further details. According to the video, the Shiba Hub is set to become a “super app” with the goal of boosting the crypto community. It is custom-designed to meet users’ daily needs and elevate their Shibarium experience.

As seen in the video, the Shiba Hub is anticipated to enable the decentralized community to create integrated experiences that connect with self-sovereign identity, blockchain technology, and various other decentralized applications [dApps] within the Hub. More details pertaining to the app are yet to be announced.

So how is Shibarium faring?

Presently, Shibarium hosts a total of 13 projects. Shiba Inu’s layer-2 protocol experienced a modest rebound in terms of its total locked value [TVL]. Initially, Shibarium had a slow start, but its TVL eventually reached a peak of nearly $1.5 million. Although it temporarily dropped to as low as $500,000, it had risen back to $638,701 at the time of writing.

Additionally, the total number of transactions surged to 3,156,867, but the daily transaction count was stuck at 16,610. Amidst this, SHIB continued to trade at $0.000007257 with no major changes.
