Shiba Inu announced in January that it would enter the Metaverse with Shiberse and the development is currently under work. In the latest update to Shiberse, the team took to Discord asking investors to be a part of the naming process. The devs requested investors to provide names for roads, avenues, parks, plazas, hubs, boulevards among others.
However, all names must be original and related to the project in some way or the other to qualify. Offensive and comical names will not be considered, read their Discord post.

Moreover, the best names among the ‘lot of opinions’ will be selected by the team and the places will be named accordingly in Shiberse. In addition, there is no limit to the number of names to be suggested and the best ones will be used in the Metaverse.
“We want to hear your feedback and opinions as we continue to progress with building Shiba Inu’s Metaverse : Codename: Shiberse,” read SHIB’s Discord.
“We are looking for the best names from the community to provide the map with some long-lasting memories that will always remind us of the best the ecosystem has to offer, and create an even more immersive experience for the environment.”

Roads
Avenues
Boulevards
HUBS options (Parks, Plazas, etc).
Shiba Inu : Shiberse Names Have Already Started pouring In
Investors have already started dropping name suggestions on Shiba Inu’s Discord. A handful of them includes the names Central Bark, Bone Boulevard, Bark Avenue, Shibollywood, HolyShib Temple, Shibazaar among various others. However, it is not known when the ‘name suggestions’ will be open as Discord has not revealed a timeline.
The release date of Shiberse is not confirmed but reports state that it could be launched sometime in 2022. During SHIB’s AMA with Watcher Guru last month, the team confirmed that 99,000 lands will be available for purchase.
However, only 35,000 plots will be released first and Leash holders get priority access to view and purchase the plots. After the first batch of the land is sold out, the rest of the lands will be released stage-wise. The second batch of lands will be open to everyone and not just Leash holders.
