The cryptocurrency market is facing one of its most significant price corrections in 2025. Bitcoin (BTC) has fallen to the $111,000 price level, and the global crypto market cap has dipped 9.5% in the last 24 hours to $3.82 trillion. According to CoinGecko data, Solana (SOL) has dipped 16.2% in the last 24 hours, 20.2% in the last week, 9.5% in the 14-day charts, and 17.5% over the previous month. The latest price crash has led to Solana (SOL) falling from $222 on Oct. 10 to $183 on Oct. 11.

Will Solana’s Price Recover From The Crash?

The latest market crash follows growing trade tensions between the US and China. President Trump announced a 100% tariff on China, starting from November. The US has also placed controls on software exports. The move came in response to China limiting rare earth material exports, which are central to the tech industry. Solana (SOL) and the larger crypto market are likely responding to the ongoing development.
Solana (SOL) has been one of the most resilient cryptocurrencies of the last few years. The asset’s price fell to below $9 after the collapse of FTX in 2022. Since its 2022 lows, SOL’s price has hit multiple all-time highs. Going by its historical performance, there is a high chance that Solana (SOL) will eventually recover its price. However, given the ongoing market uncertainty, it may take some time for SOL to get back on track.
According to CoinCodex analysts, Solana (SOL) will rally over the coming months. The platform anticipates the asset to hit $213.87 on Dec. 31. Hitting $213.87 from current price levels will entail a rally of about 16%.

Solana’s (SOL) price could recover even sooner than CoinCodex’s prediction if investor sentiment improves. The Federal Reserve is expected to roll out another interest rate cut later this month. Another rate cut could lead to a spike in risky investments. SOL’s price could recover under such circumstances. Positive ETF developments could also aid SOL’s price recovery.
