Here Are The Top 5 Most Discussed Cryptocurrencies
Metrics and insights firm ICO Analytics published a report on the most discussed cryptocurrencies last month.
- Among all the digital assets, Ethereum took the top spot with 12.9% of the mentions on social media. The high volume in mentions comes at a time when ETH rallied last month touching a high of $1,700 before retracing in price.
- Solana takes the second spot with 11% of all the mentions on social media. The mentions are mostly negative as SOL plunged in price dipping below the $19 mark and catching the ire of investors.
- Bitcoin is the third most discussed cryptocurrency with 6.3% of mentions. BTC’s presence on social media has remained stagnant that its previous month where it stood at 6.7% and the same third place.
- Stablecoin USDT comes fourth with 5.8% of mentions and its dominance seems to be seeing an increase online lately.
- The fifth most discussed cryptocurrency in the markets is Shiba Inu with 5% of all the mentions. The majority of these mentions relate to asking questions about ‘When Shibarium?’ asking the developers about its Beta release.

Surprisingly, SHIB’s ecosystem token, BONE, is the 20th most discussed cryptocurrency, according to ICO Analytics. The token entered the top 100 biggest cryptocurrency lists in terms of market cap last month. Binance Coin, Blur, Baby Dogecoin, Dogecoin, and Matic remain in the top 10 most discussed cryptocurrency list, respectively.
