In what is a breaking development amid the ongoing conflict, Ukraine has officially fired UK-supplied Storm Shadow missiles at Russia for the first time. Indeed, Ukraine’s military has fired British missiles at a target inside the invading nation, marking a groundbreaking shift, according to a Bloomberg report.

The attack was approved following Russia’s deployment of North Korean troops in the ongoing war. UK government officials viewed the decision as an “escalation of the conflict,” the report notes. Moreover, his election win comes as Russia has been advancing in Ukraine at its fastest pace since early 2022. Currently, they control a portion of Ukraine the size of a US state, reports note.
