Warren Buffett-Led Berkshire Hathaway boasts of a powerful portfolio of $367 billion and 46% of the wealth is placed in one US stock. That one stock is among the FAANG companies and a market leader in global the technology industry. For the uninitiated, FAANG is an abbreviation for prominent companies Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and Alphabet (Google).

The conglomerate Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway has put 46% of its portfolio in Apple Inc, stocks. Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway has been accumulating Apple stocks relentlessly since 2016. The financial firm has been on an Apple stock buying spree for eight years and most likely would continue adding the shares.

The Apple stocks are in profits as the shares have spiked nearly 599%. Therefore, an investment of $220 billion in Apple stocks has now turned into $1.5 trillion in 2024. All these magnificent profits occurred in just eight years between 2016 and 2024. That’s stellar gains for an investment of less than a period of a decade.

For Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, Apple stocks are a gold mine that keeps on generating profits. Buffet first drew Apple’s attention in 2016 and there has been no turning back ever since then. Apple stocks were trading at $24 in 2016 and sustainably scaled up in price over the years. Its price is currently hovering around the $182 mark. It had reached an all-time high of $199 in December 2023.
