1. “Cryptocurrency: Netflix Explained” (2018)

The episode gives a quick tour of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, and is an ideal learning space for beginners. 2. “The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin” (2014)

Amazon Prime released a documentary on cryptocurrencies titled “The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin” in 2014. The documentary showcases how Bitcoin changed the financial landscape and also touches on the topic of leading altcoins. The 2014 film also focuses on Satoshi Nakamoto but is unable to decode his/her real identity.

3. “Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King” (2022)

Netflix released yet another crypto thriller titled “Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King” in 2022. The documentary focuses on the mysterious death of Gerald Cotten, the founder of the Canadian cryptocurrency trading platform, QuadrigaCX.

Cotten mysteriously died in 2018 when it was revealed that nearly $250 million of investor’s money was missing. Moreover, his funds were inaccessible, as only Cotten had the passwords to all the cold wallets. You can watch the trailer of the documentary below.
