Bitcoin (BTC) is rallying in the heavily in the charts and touched a yearly high of $68,912 on Tuesday. BTC delivered stellar returns in the last 30 days surging in price by nearly 50%. The leading cryptocurrency saw an influx of funds after the SEC approved the BTC ETF early this year in mid-January.

BTC’s spike in price lifted the broader cryptocurrency market to new yearly highs where altcoins like Cardano’s ADA, Ripple’s XRP, and VeChain’s VET delivered handsome profits to investors. Meme-coins such as Shiba Inu, Dogecoin, Pepe, and BONK nearly went to the moon with more than 100% returns.

The Finder’s panel of cryptocurrency experts predict that Bitcoin has the potential to climb above the $69,044 mark. According to Finders, BTC could reach a high of $87,125 next year sometime in 2025. That’s an uptick and return on investment (ROI) of approximately 35% from its current price of $65,000.

Therefore, an investment of $10,000 made today could turn into $13,500 if the Finders price prediction turns accurate. Finders laid strong emphasis on Bitcoin’s previous performance and the upcoming halving event to forecast its price. Also, the BTC market cap climbed above the $1 trillion milestone this month again.

“Historically, Bitcoin halvings have followed a predictable 3-stage pattern,” Pav Hundal, Lead Market Analyst at Swyftx said. “We’ve always seen a surge in price momentum in the months up to a halving followed by a classic ‘sell the news’ event once it actually takes place. The third and final stage is a price advancement into the next bull run,” he summed it up.
