The crypto-verse emerged as an ecosystem that was much more than just trading. The developmental and adoption side of crypto took the front stage. Shiba Inu [SHIB], a meme cryptocurrency, gained immense attention this year. While it initially was because of its skyrocketing prices, the network also elevated its utilities. In a similar attempt, the SHIB network decided to formulate a collectible card game called Shiba Eternity.

This game seems to be creating quite the buzz and is the talk of the crypto town. William Volk, a game developer, decided to share details about the game at Gamescom 2022.

The Shiba Inu game has been in the works for quite some time. While it’s out for testing in Vietnam, the community has been eagerly awaiting the launch of the actual game. Addressing the same, Volk said,

“It will come out probably in September for other regions, and we’ll have a download day where we intend to get the ShibArmy to all download it.”

However, Volk also pointed out the importance of testing before rolling out the game. Therefore, he noted that the Shiba Inu game would undergo complete testing before it hit the market. In addition, the network would also have to evaluate if the game could handle all the volume when users play together.

Following the latest Vietnam testing, Volk affirmed that things were looking good.

Here’s why the current focus is on the Shiba Inu mobile game as opposed to the blockchain version

While both are pertinent for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, the network focused on the mobile version. Elaborating on the Shiba Eternity mobile game, Volk added,

“I loved the fact they were doing a mobile game first, and focusing on the gameplay rather than just a half-assed card game with shoved-in blockchain elements. One of the largest blockchain card games is not interactive. You set up the cards, and that’s it. That’s not good enough.

He further pointed out that they concentrated on the mobile game to ensure that Apple and Google were complaining. Volk noted that Shiba Eternity was a “legitimate game with in-app purchases, and yet it acts as an advertisement for the blockchain version.”

With this at play, the price of Shiba Inu did take a back seat. At press time, the asset was down by nearly 6 percent and traded at $0.0000133.
