Cryptocurrencies are like magic for a few and there are magical experiences in the world of cryptocurrencies. A mere investment of $10 can make someone a millionaire while an investment of $100,000 can also make a person pauper. No set of shoes fits all in the cryptocurrency markets and each investor has a different tale to tell. Tales are aplenty in the Shiba Inu community where early investors have made life-changing gains.

A Shiba Inu investor purchased $2,000 worth of SHIB tokens in 2020. He got to accumulate 25 trillion SHIB tokens for only $2,000 during Q3 of the same year. SHIB was trading with nine ‘zeroes’ during that time but unfortunately began declining in price after his purchase.

The dog-themed token dramatically slipped in price and began trading with 10 ‘zeroes’ in December 2020. The price dip made the investor panic and rethink his investments in Shiba Inu.

As SHIB’s price failed to rise, the investor sold all his SHIB holdings for a loss and jumped SHIB. To be precise, he sold and took out $1,627 fearing his investment could fall further.

Little did he know that if he had held Shiba Inu for another 12 months instead of panic selling, his $2,000 investment could have ballooned to $1 billion.

SHIB skyrocketed in price a month after he sold his tokens as it jumped 67,000,000% (67 million percent). The investor took to YouTube explaining his ordeal of misery saying that he missed earning $1 billion due to panic selling.

“I just got a message from a couple of mates and they told me that Shiba Inu has gone up 67 million percent since January. At that time I put $2,000 into it and I left it for a couple of weeks. It went down and I sold it for a loss.”

He added, “It turns out that would now be worth $1 billion if I hadn’t sold it.” The investor ended the video in a crying tone saying, “Now how to live with that?”
