Shiba Inu enthusiasts have been keenly waiting for the project’s layer-2 solution, Shibarium, to launch. Under the Business and Finance section on X [formerly Twitter], Shibarium, along with Shib Army, has been trending. Data from LunarCrush brought to light that the aggregate social engagements and mentions for SHIB had risen by 40% and 95% over the past week. However, the data pointed out that the spam volume related to Shiba Inu also rose by 140% in the same period.

Alongside the enthusiasm, skepticism continues to prevail. While talking with the Shib Army on Discord, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, said that he expected every ‘fudder’ to apologize ‘if’ Shibarium launches tomorrow. The developer is all set to speak at the Shib.io keynote on August 16 at 5:35 EDT. The official Shiba Inu handle posted a teaser on X and told users,
“Soon becomes tomorrow.”
Exchanges have also started listing Shiba Inu ecosystem-related tokens. A few hours ago, Crypto.com listed LEASH, and Kusama cheered for it. The asset spiked to $682 on the back of the listing. SHIB was also seen trading with four zeros at press time. Analysts like Michaël van de Poppe expect the asset to gradually head towards $0.00001300.

Will SHIB Holders Become Millionaires After Shibarium Launches?
Theoretically, if SHIB reaches 1 cent or $0.01 over the long term, investors’ fortunes could multiply. At the current price of $0.00001030, if you invest around $1030, you will get around 100 million SHIB tokens. They would eventually be worth a million when SHIB’s price deletes three other zeros. For that to take place, the asset will have to pull off a 96,987.4% rally.
Thus, even if the Shibarium launch acts like a catalyst and helps SHIB’s price rise, the asset will not be able to pull off a five-digit rally overnight. Thus, the odds of SHIB holders becoming millionaires right after the Shibarium launch seems fairly unfeasible.
