Shiba Inu (SHIB) is surely having a great year in terms of launches and development. The popular canine-themed crypto project launched its game, Shiba Eternity, in Vietnam for beta testing. The team also has a plethora of launches planned for later this year.

In a recent Tweet, Shiba Inu developer Shytoshi Kusama teased a “pitch” that the SHIB team is going to make, along with a “wish us luck.”

SHIB fans couldn’t hold their horses and began contemplating what the cryptic post could mean.

Kusama then posted a series of GIFs as hints, as he “couldn’t say much else.”

What does the cryptic post by the Shiba Inu dev mean?

Going by the GIFs posted by Kusama, it is possible that the developer is teasing a Shibarium launch. Shibarium is Shiba Inu’s layer-2 protocol, aimed to reduce transaction fees and increase speed. The project is scheduled for a Q3 launch, which, if things go according to plan, is right around the corner.

However, the cryptic post could also mean something entirely new and different. A “pitch” is usually a new idea that developers show to the project head. But being the lead developer at Shiba Inu and it is unlikely that Kusama would need to pitch an idea to anyone. Unless, they are pitching an idea to an outside firm, for a collaboration. It is also possible that the project is collaborating with a baseball team, or a firm related to the sport, given the baseball GIFs used in the Tweets.

Apart from Shibarium, Shiba Inu has also revealed plans of launching a stablecoin called Shi, and a new reward token called TREAT. The worldwide launch of their game is also in the works.

At press time, Shiba Inu was trading at $0.00001276, down by 1.3% in the last 24 hours.
