Users will first need to connect a Web3 wallet, such as Metamask, to Shiba Inu’s Shibarium network. Once connected, users will see the account number on the top-right corner of the screen.

Once a wallet has been connected, users will need to look for a validator. According to Archangel, there are only 12 validators available at the moment. However, this figure is expected to rise over time. Users will see a “Delegate” button next to each validator. The validators will be marked as “Enabled” or “Disabled” depending on their status.

However, before delegating, Archangel advises users to look out for the uptime percentage and commission rate. Archangel said users should look for validators whose uptime percentage is close to 100%. Meanwhile, commission varies between 0-3%.

After choosing a validator, a “Delegate” screen will pop up. This window will show how many BONE tokens the user has. After selecting the number of tokens to delegate, users can click “Continue.” After this, users will need to go back to their Web3 wallet to finalize the transaction, and BONE tokens will be staked on Shiba Inu’s layer-2 network.
