The crypto market is still struggling to climb out of its current slump. The global cryptocurrency market cap is still below $900 billion, currently at $872 billion, up by 1.6% in the last 24 hours. With interest rates likely to increase once again in the coming month, it is doubtful if the markets will make any positive movements anytime soon.
However, some crypto tokens deserve investor attention over the Thanksgiving Holidays.
Crypto projects to watch over the holidays
Litecoin (LTC): Litecoin continues to be the best performer among the top 100 crypto tokens. There are many possibilities for this feat. It may be so that Solana (SOL) investors who pulled out of the crypto project are putting their funds on LTC. Moreover, LTC’s halving is set to take place in August 2023. Even Bitcoin (BTC) maximalist Micheal Saylor said that LTC is like a digital commodity like BTC.
However, there are signs that LTC’s bullish trend might not last very long. LTC/BTC’s weekly RSI surged above 70 on Nov. 22. RSI over 70 is viewed as overbought by many analysts.
At press time, LTC was trading at $77.40, up by 34.4% in the last week.
Binance Coin (BNB): The world’s largest exchange’s native crypto token is making a lot of gains of late. The FTX crash brought in a lot of uncertainty regarding exchanges and exchange tokens. Binance may have given a positive push to investor sentiment after publishing its proof of reserves.
Moreover, Binance is launching a new project. The recent rally could be a reaction to that.
At press time, BNB was trading at $299.28, up by 9.5% in the last 24 hours.
Bitcoin (BTC): It is always a good idea to keep one eye on the original crypto. Markets usually tend to follow BTC, and a trend reversal on its charts is good news for everybody. However, BTC is currently at a very delicate level. Investors are on the lookout as the token once again approaches sub-$16k levels. It could mean bad news for older investors but could mean good news for newcomers who can buy cheap Bitcoin.
At press time, BTC was trading at $16,685.05, up by 1% in the last 24 hours.
