Vitalik Buterin is the largest individual Ethereum holder with access to his wallet, holding over 240 ETH. The Ethereum co-founder has recently made a significant transaction, moving millions worth of his ETH to a new wallet. The transaction was for 3,000 ETH, valued at around $8.05 million, according to blockchain intelligence firm Lookonchain.
Buterin is known for his philanthropic work, often donating to charities. The analysis from Lookonchain suggests that he is preparing for a new donation. The funds were sent to an unknown wallet, “0xfEB,” which could be linked to a charitable organization.
Previously, Buterin has made millions in donations to those in need. In May 2021, he donated more than $1.2 billion worth of Shiba Inu tokens to the Indian Covid-Crypto Relief Fund. He has also contributed over $441 million in Akita coins to the Gitcoin platform and other notable donations in memecoins.

Vitalik Buterin On Ethereum
Vitalik Buterin recently spoke on Ethereum at a keynote talk. He expressed his belief that Ethereum thrives as a “large and reasonably decentralized staking ecosystem.” He also voiced his worry about the 51% attacks on the blockchain. However, he noted a solution isn’t all that simple. Buterin said it “depends on a lot of assumptions around coordination, ideology, and various other things, and it’s not clear how to do something like that as well in 10 years.”
Ethereum [ETH] has seen a lot of activity in its network throughout the decline of the cryptocurrency market. Ethereum’s price surged by over 3%, reaching a daily peak of $2,547. At press time, ETH is trading at $2,591.
