The community has eagerly been waiting for Shiba Inu’s Metaverse to launch. As reported recently, the Metaverse has undergone a significant alteration to give consumers a more life-like experience. In fact, the team has also modified its previous development and has been creating new hubs from this new foundation. Watcher Guru reached out to Marcie Jastrow, Shiba Inu’s Metaverse Advisor, to get the latest updates about the development progress. Shedding light on what the team is building, she said via mail,
“We are building use cases for multiple orgs [organizations] to show how blockchain/crypto/NFTs can be a game changer.”
A fortnight back, Jastrow revealed that “Shib the Metaverse is the talk of Hollywood.” The assertion made by the Metaverse Advisor managed to stir elation within the Shiba Inu community. Shiba Inu’s Metaverse being discussed by Hollywood insiders underlines how the initiative has gradually started garnering mainstream attention.
We first need to land and experiment: Shiba Inu Metaverse Advisor
Via mail, Jastrow did not provide clarity on whether or not there are any future tie-ups lined up or whether there be a Hollywood film shot in the Shiba Inu Metaverse, as she is bound by “tight” non-disclosure agreements. However, she told Watcher Guru,
“My fear is that we need to first land some and experiment. Until we do this we really shouldn’t discuss the how and why.”
Furthermore, she revealed that brands are “toe dipping” at the moment and added,
“I do believe the MV [Metaverse] will help here – but until we are open and ready for business it is all just speculation.”
The team recently revealed several tools which will be a part of the Metaverse. The same includes Object Placement, Terrain Editing, Interactivity, Monetization, and Publishing. Users will reportedly be able to utilize them to create virtual real estate on plots of land, and then sell it, or put it up for rent. Users can also use the avatar builder to create their own avatars within the metaverse.
The Shiba Inu Metaverse is expected to see the light of day by the end of 2023. The team believed that users will be able to use and interact with the Metaverse by the end of the year. However, it should be noted that everything in the Metaverse might not be operational upon launch, for it is an “ongoing project.”
