Virtual Reality has come a long way to enhance user experience. Right from games to films, several technologies have been tapping into this computer-generated environment and its capabilities.

Hollywood has been gearing up for the whole Virtual Reality and Metaverse concept for quite some time. Several films have deployed or entertained the idea. In fact, there are also movies that have been entirely shot in the Metaverse. HBO documentary film ‘We Met in Virtual Reality’ is one such exhibit. Such films have proven to be quite immersive and have helped viewers feel a whirlwind of emotions.

VR and the Metaverse have made their way into almost every industry. Several mainstream companies right from Meta to Nissan are on-board and are experimenting with the said technology. In fact, the Cryptoverse x Metaverse intersection has also proven to be quite fruitful. Right from Decentraland to Sandbox and Axie Infinity, several projects from the space have been blooming.

Shiba Inu’s SHIB the Metaverse has also managed to gain a fair share of the traction. A couple of weeks back, Shytoshi Kusama unveiled the SHIB Metaverse WAGMI Temple Alpha Preview. The same showcases a menu that makes the purchase of land easy while observing the entire map. Alongside, a new trailer for the SHIB Metaverse was also launched on the new Shib.io website. The community has been quite excited about Shiba Inu’s Metaverse. Alongside, people from outside the space are also allegedly interested in its development. Marcie Jastrow, Shiba Inu’s Metaverse Advisor, recently tweeted,

“Shib the Metaverse is the talk of Hollywood.”

Shiba Inu Metaverse grabs the limelight

Jastrow recently attended the National Association of Broadcasters [NAB] Show in Las Vegas from April 15 to 19. She was featured in the event’s Web3 Advisory Council as a speaker. The NAB Show is one of the largest shows for media, entertainment, and technology. Creators, innovators, and professionals usually gather here to discuss the latest trends and developments in the aforementioned fields.

The latest assertion made by Jastrow has managed to stir elation within the Shiba Inu community. Shib the Metaverse being discussed by Hollywood insiders during the event underlines how the initiative has managed to garner mainstream attention. Going forward, an official Hollywood introduction does have the potential to bolster mass adoption and help the Shiba Inu ecosystem grow by leaps and bounds. That being said, it should be noted that Shiba Inu’s Metaverse is still under development. As Watcher Guru reported recently, it will likely see the light of day by the end of 2023.
