Micron stock (NASDAQ: MU) opened Monday’s trading session at $981. The leading semiconductor giant has been receiving an influx of investments from both retail and institutional giants. MU is now looking to reclaim the $1,000 level, which it touched early in June, reaching a yearly high of $1,089, but retraced in value for the rest of the month.

Leading investment banking firm TD Cowen has provided a new price target for Micron stock. The firm has painted a bullish picture with a potential uptick of double-digit gains. An investment now below the $1,000 level could prove to be beneficial as the leading equity begins its upward spiral in the charts and rewards traders.

Krish Sankar, the Senior Research Analyst at TD Cowen, reiterated his buy rating for MU on Sunday (June 15). He wrote in the note to clients that Micron stock is expected to kick-start a rally and experience a price spurt. The analyst gave it a price target of $1,500, which is close to a profit of $518 per share.

The TD Cowen analyst projects that Micron stock could surge by close to 52% next. Therefore, an investment of $,1000 could turn into $1,500+ if the price prediction turns out to be accurate. That’s massive returns, as not every asset can deliver this much gain to investors. Taking an entry position in MU or buying the dips opens the opportunity for bigger gains.

The analyst anchored his price target on three reasons, including the AI memory supercycle, supply constraints in the semiconductor sector, and its high-margin revenue streams. Micron’s free cash flow is projected to surge over the next couple of years, which can attract positive sentiments to its stock prospects, wrote Sankar. Similarly, as MU has seen explosive growth since 2025, the chances of it rising again remain high.
